Common RV Insurance Policies to Consider
It's safe to say that collision insurance covers any collisions that may occur. And yet another type of insurance is uninsured driver insurance. This type of insurance covers you if there is any damage caused to your RV and the owner of the vehicle that caused the damage has no insurance. In this case your insurance company will take care of any repair costs and go after the un-insured motorist.
Since one can live in an RV full-time you should consider a type of home insurance policy to go along with your RV insurance. Full-time RVing has its rewards and people enjoy being able to travel around the country without being tied down to one location. Most full-timers buy expensive RV models and living in an RV year round does create additional wear and tear on appliances, furniture and electronics.
So, don’t forget about some type of home insurance policy for your RV. They are not very expensive and you’ll be glad you have it if something happens.
