Gas Motorhomes - A Touch of Luxury at an Affordable Price!

Gas Motorhomes are typically less expensive than diesel motorhomes but offer the same luxurious amenities often associated with diesel motorcoaches as they are called.

Gas motorhomes range in weight from 15,000 to 35,000 pounds and stretch from 28 to 45 feet in length. Describing them as "motorhomes" is no exaggeration. Class A motorhomes come with almost every creature comfort you would expect in a home.

Some of the amenities that you will find in gas motorhome include; private sleeping space, full size shower or bath, state of the art entertainment and stereo systems, and even the ability to access the internet by satellite anywhere you are on the road. You can upgrade to a full size washer/dryer, refrigerator and other appliances as well. Gas motorhomes are very well equipped and the higher priced ones can cost $500,000 or more.

Class A Motorhomes Some advantages to owning a gas motorhome are; they cost less comparaed to a diesel motorhome and gas engines are cheaper to maintain and a bit easier to repair. A number of RV manufacturers have introduced innovative technologies to increase fuel efficiency, horsepower and torque in gas engines. It use to be that diesel engines were a lot more fuel efficient compared to gas but this has changed in recent years. Gas motorhomes are quieter and don’t smell as much and for some this is a big factor.
