Four Winds RV Reviews by JR Consumer Resources

Four Winds MotorhomesFour Winds is now a product of Thor Motor Coach, the result of the 2010 merger and purchase by Thor, Industries of Four Winds International, Damon Motor Coach, and Mandalay RV. All information and products once manufactured by Four Winds are now directed to the Thor Motor Coach manufacturing company. This includes the website and contact information. Though Thor Motor Coach is a relatively new name to the industry, its parent company, Thor Industries has been around for decades.

Thor Industries, which traces its history back 70 years and is listed on the NY Stock Exchange, is the parent company of Four Winds. Today Thor is the largest manufacturing brand of motorhomes in North America, with Four Winds being part of that production. This includes Class A, B and C motorhomes, as well as manufacturing both gas and diesel motorhomes. Known for its innovative products, Four Winds was first to introduce the Funmover and the garage motorhome. The company takes pride in knowing that they are on the market edge when it comes to new products, new floor plans and new and bigger chassis for more power and strength. “We have an edge over our closest competitors; Fleetwood and Winnebago because we have some unique products that fill a niche, which they don’t concentrate on,” says John Krider, Director of Marketing. “Our manufacturing structure and lower overhead makes a lot of difference.”
