Extreme Warrior is the original Weekend Warrior factory founded in 1988 by Mark Warmoth, now General and Product Consultant for Extreme Warrior. Now manufacturing out of Nampa/Caldwell, Idaho, the company, once known as Extreme RV, manufactured travel trailers, lite-trailers, toy haulers and fifth wheel products. Appealing to entry-level buyers and sportsmen, Extreme Warrior RV is still producing the travel trailers and toy haulers, and is planning on an all-new design in superlite fifth wheels.
Extreme Warrior is a rather new company to the RV industry, created from an employee purchase of KIT Manufacturing Company’s RV Division in 2003. Extreme RVs retained the former company's product lines: Companion, Road Ranger, Extreme SUTs, Sportsmaster, and Monterey. The former company, KIT Manufacturing, was in business since 1945, was started as a co-partnership in October 1945 at Long Beach, California. Its purpose was to manufacture and market a pre-fabricated, camper-type, teardrop trailer which could be shipped in a "kit" or package complete with component parts. The sportsman could then assemble the unit himself.
Over the years, the company developed a reputation for a quality built unit. KIT units maintain one of the highest resale values on the market. KIT became well known for its Companion and Road Ranger product lines; and prior to the sale of the company began growing its Extreme Sport Utility Trailer line.
Mark Warmoth tells us, “We want Warrior owners and others to be the first to know we are building trailers again. The newest generation of Warrior trailers is very impressive. We have designed every nut and bolt in the new models. Every year Warrior was in business we improved from the last, and this generation is no different. We are committed to refinement and constant improvement. We are a cargo company first and then a RV company.” Extreme Warrior adds, “We have, from the ground up and with pain staking scrutiny, chosen each and every item that makes up the new generation of trailers—every component, and every feature.”
