With over eight years of research you can be confident in knowing you will have the most relevant information in your hands to purchase your next RV. You will learn how RV manufacturers compare to each other and which companies are best in the areas of: Quality Construction, Customer Satisfaction, Resale Value and Price.
Our 2009-2012 RV Comparison Guide is only available through our website and not in book stores. We are constantly updating our book to provide our readers with accurate information. To print thousands of books and ship them to various book stores across the country would be nice but unfortunately they would be out-of-date in only a few months and not relevant with all the changes taking place within the RV industry today.
While it is impossible to know the financial stability of every RV Company in North America, we have done our best by providing our findings based on data collected from a variety of sources. We interview each RV manufacturer; speak with RV dealers and RV owners. We also gather data from NADA guides, RV survey sites and various RV organizations.
Construction Methods & Techniques
In addition to providing ratings on over 98% of RV Companies in North America, we also provide important information about how RVs are constructed and what to look for in a well-built recreational vehicle. In Chapter 2 of our book we focus on things like what to look for in a chassis or frame, different types of roofing materials and the pros and cons with each.
You will also learn about common construction methods for exterior walls, types of insulation being used and other important construction methods. We have spoken with many RV plant managers from various manufacturers.
Chapter 2 covers many critical aspects of the construction process and we felt it was desperately needed based on our research. Having a set of Construction Standards that properly reflect a structurally sound recreational vehicle is very helpful and eliminates a lot of confusion when trying to select a particular model. Chapter 2 has helped thousands of RV buyers and we receive countless emails from happy readers thanking us for including this in our publication.
What an awesome read! Your new book covered everything we needed to make an informed decision.
Our friends just purchased a new 2011 fifth wheel and are having problems with the factory regarding warranty work. This has made us nervous because we were considering the same unit our friends bought.
After reading your book we learned that the manufacturer of the fifth wheel our friends now own was not rated very well. Because of your book we decided on another manufacturer and are very satisfied with our purchase.
Highly recommended and would suggest to anyone considering an RV to get yourself a copy, you will be glad you did!

Thank you so much for sending me your RV Comparison Guide
I have been waiting for your new edition to come out and the wait was worth it. A number of RV manufacturers we were considering are no longer in business. I have been doing some research and thought one company in particular would be a good choice, but after reading your guide I learned they were having financial problems.
My wife and I have narrowed our search down to one manufacturer based on your ratings and are please with all the information contained in this resource. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a newer motorhome.
Great Job!

Buy an RV with Confidence
If you have never attended a large RV show or visited a mega RV dealer you are in for a big surprise. The first thing you’ll notice right off is, “There are so many choices, where do I begin?” Did you know this is the number one reason why people put off buying a RV? They are overwhelmed with all the choices and become frustrated; don’t let this happen to you!
The second biggest reason people decide not to buy an RV is that they don’t know who they can trust. It’s not uncommon to hear your RV salesperson say something like, “This manufacturer builds the best models". After you have visited a number of dealers it’s like a broken record. Everybody thinks their brands are the best in the industry. Our RV guide cuts through the maze of confusion and sheds light on which RV manufacturers receive top ratings.
When buying an RV you need to know if it is adequate for your travel needs and be able to stand the test of time. Cheaper models will cause problems, frustration and produce a negative RV experience. Most RV buyers want a good deal and many will end up purchasing an RV model based on price alone and end up disappointed. Buy with confidence by being informed!
I just purchased your RV Comparison Guide and I am very-very impressed!
I am getting ready to retire and have always wanted to visit our national parks. The economic slow-down has been tough on us and we don’t have a lot of money to spend but want a quality unit that will hold up over time.
We plan on spending a few months a year traveling and don’t want to get stuck with a poorly constructed model. After reading your articles on the different RV manufacturers and reviewing the rating charts we decided on a company we felt met our travel needs and budget.
Your buying tips and how to buy the right RV warranty really helped. Our RV salesperson was amazed at how much we knew about the industry and their company. We saved a ton of money during the negotiation phase and we ended up with the right model for us.
Thank You!

Ultimate RV Package2009 - 2012
This amazing offer includes our Best-Selling RV Comparison Guide and two bonus offers, "How to Purchase A RV and Save Thousands" and "RV Extended Warranties" and 3 RV Ratings Reports (there is no time limit in requesting your RV reports). This package provides RV buyers with how the RV Factories compare to each other and access to three RV Reports which gives further details about a particular RV model.
After you place your order for this RV Package you will receive an email with instructions to access your RV FORM, (E-book orders only). All printed book orders will receive instructions to access RV form when book arrives priority mail. This form will require the make, model & year of the particular RV model you are interested in. Once we receive this information we will process your request and send your report via email to the email address provided on the order form. Each report contains 7 to 8 pages of detailed ratings and wholesale and retail values for that particular model. All reports are sent as a Word Document and you can save each report to your computer or print report(s) using your printer. Each report is broken down into three parts.
Part 1 of each report focuses on Intended Use. There are four main categories most RV models will fall into. They are: Weekend use, Vacationer, Snowbird and Full-Time use. Based on the standard options, overall quality, and data collected from various RV sources, we can accurately determine the overall intended use of a particular model. If your intention is to use your RV for short weekend trips, for example, you probably do not need a model that was designed for full-time use.
Part 2 includes Comprehensive Ratings. The manner in which a particular RV model performs in the areas of: Quality, Reliability, Handling, Payload and Customer Satisfaction will ultimately determine the overall satisfaction level of the unit. When rating a particular model, our staff has spoken with RV owners, attended various RV shows and interviewed most of the RV manufacturers in North America. We have also collected data from RV websites, forums/blogs, customer survey polls and RV related organizations.
Part 3 includes RV Values Wholesale & Retail. This section of the report is very popular with our customers. We have spent many years researching the wholesale and retail values for many different recreational vehicles. ALL buyers want to know what the actual wholesale and retail values are for the RV model they are getting ready to purchase. Based on our research and statistics from the NADA Guides and other resources, we have produced a 15-year depreciation chart that we believe properly reflects wholesale and retail values.
This is a valuable service in which we provide an 8-page report on a specific RV model. The information contained in each RV Report is the result of data collected from a number of sources including; RV organizations, N.A.D.A Guides, interviews with manufacturers and consumer satisfaction surveys.
