Overall the RV industry has been open to speaking with my research team and me. As expected, a few companies declined to speak with us but most welcomed the chance to get their information out. An article on each manufacturer provides important information with helpful facts and insights. Understanding how RV manufacturers compare to each other is the first step in deciding which models to consider. Our RV Comparison Guide focuses on Class A Motorhomes, Class C Motorhomes, Fifth Wheels, Toy Haulers and Travel Trailers. We do not rate Class B motor homes, pop-up tent trailers or campers.
Our staff rates each RV manufacturer, based on: Quality of Construction, Customer Satisfaction, Data collected from RV Dealers and Resale Values from the NADA Guide. We arrive at our conclusions by speaking with previous owners, attending various RV shows and conducting detailed research.
Within each category, a manufacturer receives a rating based on the research and data collected. Each category has a possible 25 points, 100 points being a perfect score.
