Hiho Hiho its down the road we go in a new RV

If you want to purchase a new recreational vehicle, there are many factors to take into consideration. First is whether you want to purchase a motor home, fifth wheel unit or a pull trailer. If you purchase a motor home, you are already inside the unit if you are pulling over for a lunch break or a short break from driving. All recreational vehicles are self-contained making it easy to pull over in remote areas to grab a bite to eat.

Having the bathroom with you can be a convenience in itself when you are miles from public facilities. There is no worry about who slept in the bed the night before or how well the house cleaner has cleaned the room.

With a motor home, you can tow a small economical vehicle behind to use while the motor home is set up in a camping site. After a day of exploring local attractions, it is nice returning to the motor home for a relaxing evening.

Fifth wheel trailers and other pull behinds are less expensive than a motor home but in most cases offer the same amenities. All of them are self-contained with a full service kitchen, bathroom with a shower, separate bedroom area and a small living area.

Motor homes, Fifth Wheels and Pull behind trailers with pull out extensions are very roomy and spacious enough for long term visits. For some people these units are their only homes, they actually live in their units year round.

Before purchasing, recreational vehicles consider the unlimited possibilities of available units with low mileage and use. They will be less expensive with the same guarantees. There are many different comparison guides and appraisal services available for review assuring you that you are getting the best deal available.

FREE GUIDE - Learn How to Spot a Well-Built RV

A common mistake with most new RV buyers is that the floor plan is the most important aspect in their RV purchase. It is estimated that over 90% of new RV buyers focus more on floor plans than anything else.

In contrast, most experienced or educated RV buyers focus on the chassis or frame, drive train, engine, suspension and exterior construction when selecting a particular RV model.

Bottom line - What’s underneath your motorhome, travel trailer or fifth wheel is the most important aspect and should take top priority in your decision process. Focusing on these important features will ultimately determine how satisfied you are with your purchase.
