Gulf Stream Motorhomes - Ratings, Reviews & Buying Tips!

Gulf Stream Coach has been manufacturing recreation vehicles for 20 years. The company was founded by James F. Shea, Sr. who was looking to branch out after starting a manufactured housing company in an old sauerkraut factory. Shea at first thought about acquiring an existing RV company but then decided to start from scratch so he could build RVs the way he thought best. Gulf Stream was born and is today one of the top manufacturers in the country selling strong in all regions.

Gulf Stream RV says the Montaj is their newest motorhome. Dealers we spoke with said the Montaj is catching on fast as the economy recovers. The Montaj is more economical than your standard Class A with 94" width compared to 102" and a height of 10' 4" compared to 12'. The Montaj has a 30% lower center of gravity than a standard Class A and even a standard mini home. This low center of gravity assures the driver a stable and a smooth ride.
