Class C Motorhomes - Fair & Balanced Ratings!

Class C motorhomes are popular with families because they offer more sleeping space compared to Class A Motorhomes. One of the main features of this model is the chassis is made the same way as a truck frame. The front end of a Class C motorhome looks like a truck with a sleeping area above cab.

Many RV manufacturers are including fuel efficient diesel engines in newer models that average around 15 to 20 miles per gallon. Class C motorhomes are smaller and easy to drive compared to larger Class A motorhomes making them more desirable.

Most of these models come with one or two slide-outs, which expand the living areas allowing more room to cook in the kitchen or sleep in a king size bed. There are many luxuries found in these types of vehicles such as, flat screen TV’s, satellite systems, backup cameras and leather furniture along with tile flooring to full size appliances. There are many different floor plans available to suit any particular travel needs or requirements.

When looking at a particular motorhome one should check the specifications in regards to overall weight limits and towing capacity. If you plan to tow a boat or small car this can help you decided on a particular model. One problem associated with Class C motorhomes is people tend to bring too much stuff along and overload the vehicle. So, be sure to check how much each vehicle can carry without compromising the weight limit, which can put additional stress on the frame.

In either case both resources will answer your questions concerning which RV Manufacturers are BEST in the areas of: Quality Construction, Customer Satisfaction, Resale Value & Price.

Our company has helped tens of thousands of RV buyers find the perfect RV for their travel needs at below retail prices. Purchasing an RV is a big investment and those that do their research before they buy will be able to make wise and informed decisions.

Don’t even think about buying an RV until you read this. My wife and I were stunned to learn about all the different manufacturers we have never heard of. The rating charts, company information, construction diagrams were exactly what we needed. Thanks so much! Josh McIntosh, CA.

I was skeptic at first but after reading the 2009-2012 RV Comparison Guide by JR Consumer Resources I can honestly say it was worth every penny. Not only did it answer my questions concerning best RV factories but it helped me negotiate a much better deal than I thought possible. A great RV resource, thanks. Steven Hopkins, AL.

My wife and I are looking at a 2007 travel trailer and did not know where to begin. Our goal is to travel after we retire and did not want to buy a poorly built trailer. After reading the 2006-2008 RV Comparison Guide we now know which RV manufacturers to focus on. A quality publication with rating charts, construction diagrams and valuable buying tips. Thanks for all the research. Linda & Tom Wheaton, WA.

RV Ratings Report (Model Specific)

This is a valuable service in which we provide an 8-page report (sent to your email address as a Word Document) for a specific RV model. If you have narrowed your search down to a particular model or two, but are still having a difficult time in choosing one over the other, our RV Ratings Report will help you decide.

Each report is model specific and focuses on the main areas of concern, which are: Overall Quality, Performance, Payload Capabilities, Reliability, Customer Satisfaction & Resale Value? We have an extensive data base which allows us to provide specific reports on model years from 1998 to present.

After much research my wife and I settled on two similar RV models. Both meet our needs and wants but we still had a difficult time narrowing it down to just one model. After receiving our RV Reports it helped us decided on the right model for us. A valuable service, thanks J R Consumer!- Max Hatchett, MN.

RV Buying Secrets Revealed

It is a fact that at least 80% of buyers pay too much for their RVs. By following our RV buying tips and suggestions in, “How to Purchase A RV and Save Thousands” you will be able to negotiate huge discounts with your dealer.

Whether you are buying a new or used motorhome, travel trailer or 5th wheel, all prices are negotiable. Remember to bargain up from the wholesale value or dealer’s invoice of the recreational vehicle you are interested in and not down from the asking price.

Our very popular E-book will show you how to determine your RV dealer’s invoice by using our simple formulas. This information is critical and a must read if you plan to get the best deal possible. Important note: This resource is included for FREE if you purchase either RV Comparison Guide featured above.

I saved $5,400 above and beyond what I thought I could negotiate on my recent RV purchase. The E-Book is worth every penny!
Timothy Metzger, AZ.

FREE GUIDE - Learn How to Spot a Well-Built RV

A common mistake with most new RV buyers is that the floor plan is the most important aspect in their RV purchase. It is estimated that over 90% of new RV buyers focus more on floor plans than anything else.

In contrast, most experienced or educated RV buyers focus on the chassis or frame, drive train, engine, suspension and exterior construction when selecting a particular RV model.

Bottom line - What’s underneath your motorhome, trailer or fifth wheel is the most important aspect and should take top priority in your decision process. Focusing on these important features will ultimately determine how satisfied you are with your purchase.
